Sanju Samson made headlines in the series opener against South Africa with a fantastic century. He had hit a similar swashbuckling century against Bangladesh in his previous game and the back-to-back centuries made him the talk of the town. However, things have fallen drastically after those highs, and now he has become the first player to bag two consecutive ducks in T20Is after two back-to-back centuries.

Sanju Samson scored a four-ball duck in the second T20I against South Africa at St. George's Park while in the third game, he has bagged a two-ball duck. In both the games, Marco Jansen got his wicket and hit the timber in the very first over of the game. Before the third T20I between India and South Africa, Sanju Samson was included in the list of nine cricketers who have bagged a duck after a century in T20I. However, another duck has now made him a sole member of a unique list.

Sanju Samson's Journey From Cloud-9 To Hell

The Kerala batter though is only among the four cricketers in T20Is to score consecutive T20Is which include Gustav Mckeon, Rilee Rossouw, Phil Salt. So, Sanju has been in form and is a special talent, and he would be looking to get back among runs in the fourth and final T20I of the series.

Before the Bangladesh series, where Sanju Samson scored a century in the final game, Samson had bagged two consecutive ducks against Sri Lanka. So, inconsitency is something that has always been associated with Sanju Samson and this new record reaffirms that belief.
