GT vs MI | Mohammed Shami Set to Play 100th IPL Game Against Mumbai Indians

Mohammed Shami has been a champion bowler for India over the years in across formats. He is known for his perfect seam position and ability to trouble best of the batters with brilliant seam movement. He has created and broken plenty of records along the way. In the IPL too, Shami has been a marquee bowler and has led the pace attacks for many franchise across his IPL career.
Shami started off with KKR and then played for Delhi Capitals as injuries hampered his progress along the way. However, he found a new lease of life with Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings now) in the 2019 season and picked 19 wickets. He followed it up with 20 and 19 wickets for Punjab in the 2020 and 2021 season. Shami then played a big role in GT's win in their inaugural season in 2022 with 20 wickets, showing great prowess in the Powerplay phase of the game.
Shami is now set to play his 100th IPL game when GT take on MI at Narendra Modi Stadium and overall, the right-arm pacer has picked 109 wickets in his IPL career.
In the 2023 IPL, Shami has been at his best with the new ball and has picked up 10 wickets in games so far. Let’s see how Lala delivers in his 100th game in the IPL.
