Suryakumar Yadav is known for his 360-degree hitting and consistency in T20 cricket. It is very rare to see him scoring at a low strike rate and getting out early in the format, but it happened in the second T20I against South Africa at St. George's park where he could muster just four runs in nine balls.

He fell on the final delivery of the fourth over and it was a lovely delivery by youngster Andile Simelane. It was a slower yorker angling into middle and Suryakumar Yadav went across to his right to work it away. He missed the ball though and the ball hit him on the pads which was followed by a huge appeal and the umpire raised his finger. The Indian skipper too knew that is gone, and after having a brief chat with his partner decided to not take the DRS and walked off the field.

Indian Top-Order Crumble In 2nd ODI

It was a crucial wicket for South Africa as Suryakumar Yadav has the ability to change the complexion of the game in quick time. His wicket reduced India to 15-3 and soon they lost Tilak Varma too to put themselves in all sorts of trouble.

Earlier, Sanju Samson, the centurion of the last match departed for a three-ball duck while Abhishek Sharma failed again, scoring just four of 5 five balls. India are ahead in the series afte winning the first game but South Africa have started the second game well and India would now have to do a lot of catching up to go 2-0 in the series.
