As expected, rain god decided to ruin the fun as the Sri Lanka Vs New Zealand, 2nd T20I faces rain setback. The toss has been delayed as both the sides face uncertainty. Sri Lanka lead the series, 1-0, and if the rain washes out the match, they will seal the series.

As per Accuweather, there were chances of rain in the evening and the predictions came true as the fans await the start of the match.

The Kiwis came into this series on the back of a stellar performance against India in the Tests, however, they also had bad memories in Sri Lanka, as before the India tour, the Lankan Lions inflicted a series whitewash on them.

The first T20I was a low-scoring affair, with the Kiwis struggling to put on a challenge. The visitors put up just 135 runs, and despite a minor hiccup, Sri Lanka managed to chase it down with 4 wickets in hand.

SL Vs NZ: Toss updates

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first as the rain threat looms large and DRS could come into play tonight.

The home team are going in with the same side which won the first T20I, meanwhile, New Zealand have made just one change - Lockie Ferguson replaces Jacob Duffy.
