India registered a clinical seven-wicket win in the second T20I between India and Sri Lanka and have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in three-match series. It was a rain-curtailed game with the match first being delayed by 45 minutes and then India's chase was reduced to 8 overs with rain halting proceedings after just three balls.

Both the wins for India have shown the depth and belief in the Indian squad with bowlers making a strong comeback at the death, after being put under the pump initially.
