Melbourne Stars' veteran all-rounder Marcus Stoinis showcased his fielding attributes, as he grabbed a magnificent catch to dismiss Hobart Hurricanes' opener Caleb Jewell in the ongoing BBL encounter at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Opening the batting for the Hurricanes, Jewell could contribute only five runs before Stoinis took a stunning catch to dismiss him.

The incident occurred during the second over of Hobart Hurricanes' innings after the Stars posted a massive 219-run total. After conceding a boundary off his first ball, Stars' in-form pacer Mark Steketee made a remarkable comeback, dismissing Jewell two deliveries later.

From over the wicket, Steketee bowled a full-length delivery around the middle and off stump, with Jewell trying to clear the in-field with an aggressive aerial shot. However, the swashbuckling southpaw only managed a top-edge, and Stoinis took a fantastic catch to send him packing.

The ball was travelling quickly through the air and Marcus Stoinis needed to cover significant distance to grab the catch. The Australian all-rounder exhibited commendable athleticism and timed his dive to perfection, completing a clean catch.
