The first Test match between Pakistan and West Indies came to a fitting conclusion for the home-team as they took a series lead after claiming a 127-run victory against the Windies Men. This victory can largely be credited to the lethal bowling prowess of Sajid Khan, who picked up a shining nine-wicket haul in the match and also won the Player Of The Match award.
As promised before the spin wizard brought Pakistani superstars, Babar Azam and Mohd. Rizwan to re-create his famous celebration after claiming the dominating victory in Multan. A video circulating all over the internet has sent fans in a frenzy, as Sajid Khan is seen recreating his celebration with Pakistan's white-ball skipper and now ex-captain, Babar.

Sajid Khan On Why POTM Should Go To Shakeel And Rizwan
Sajid Khan reflected on his performance and the team’s overall success in their recent match. While he was happy to receive the Player of the Match award, Nauman acknowledged the outstanding contributions of Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan for their crucial batting in the first innings, as well as Shan Masood's important knock in the second innings.
"If you look at things closely, the Player of the Match award should go to Shakeel and Rizwan for the way they batted in the first innings and then the way Masood batted in the second innings. I got the award, yeah, happy with it. The team is playing great brand of cricket and it is important for us to stay together.
The wicket had a lot of turn and bounce. The spin bowling coach spoke to me and in the second innings, I bowled a little slower and did not leak too many runs as I conceded runs later in the spell in the first innings," he said.
Regarding his own performance, he emphasized the value of communication with his teammates, especially with the experienced Nauman Ali, to ensure they bowled in tandem without leaking runs.
"Nauman Ali discusses a lot with me as he is very experienced. We didn't want to give runs in the second innings, and that was great. I wanted to bat well. But I went for the inside-out stroke, and it didn't come off. Obviously, the shot was not on this pitch (smiles)," he added.
He also credited the spin-friendly pitch for providing ample turn and bounce, which the bowlers, particularly the spinners, exploited effectively.
