The 3rd game of IPL 2024 turned out to be a thrilling encounter as the match went right down to the wire with Klaasen staging a superb comeback for SRH. KKR did prevail in the end, but the six that Klaasen hit to Harshit Rana on the first delivery of the last over brought out a cheerful dance from SRH owner Kavya Maran.

SRH needed 13 in the final over and Harshit Rana bowled a short delivery first up probably to surprise Klaasen but the South African slammed it over deep square leg that brought a wave of joy in SRH camp. Kavya Maran who might have thought that the game is done and dusted, jumped in great happiness with her fellow SRH supporter.

Young Harshit Rana though, did well after that six and got the wickets of both Shahbaz Ahmed and Heinrich Klaasen to take KKR to a thrilling 4-run victory. 

SRH were 145-5 at one point in time in the 17th over and KKR would have fancied their chances of a big win, but Klaasen smashed 63 off 29 balls and Shahbaz Ahmed also played a handy cameo of 16 off just 5 balls to take SRH very close to the target.
