Mohammed Siraj seemed in absolutely unstoppable force when he came to bowl against Australia's best Test batter Marnus Labuschagne on Thursday during the Boxing Day Test match between India and Australia, taking place at the MCG. In fact, India's right-arm quick hit on Labuschagne's box not once but twice in the same over, and it made a lot of headlines because those blows came on consecutive deliveries.

The incident happened during the 33rd over of Australia’s innings when Siraj was up against Labuschagne. The first blow was raw, but the second hit left Labushagne into his knees. In fact, there was a red mark on Labuschagne’s trousers, as highlighted on the big screen.

Meanwhile, Australia are on the hot seat against India after debutant Sam Konstas made Jasprit Bumrah and his boys look like rookie bowlers during the first session of the match. At the time of writing this, Australia are 138/1, with Usman Khawaja batting on 52* and Labuschagne on 22.*

For India, Ravindra Jadeja has taken the only wicket so far, and India would desperately want to get more breakthroughs to stage a fightback.

Earlier in the game, Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first. Rohit Sharma too wanted to bat first, but the luck was not in his favour. To make matters worse, India won't have the services of Shubman Gill either this time around.
