Shubman Gill, the Prince of Indian cricket has continued his rich vein of form in the first ODI against the Aussies with a classy fifty off just 37 balls. He looked in sublime touch right from the word go and played some glorious shots along the way. Gill got his first fifty in the second over of India's innings against Stoinis and just never looked in any trouble against the likes of Cummins, Stoinis and Abbott.
Shubman Gill got to his fifty in the 14th over with a six off the final delivery from Matthew Short. It was a delightful shot from Gill to get to his fifty, it was a tossed up delivery on off. Gill danced down the track and tonked it right over the bowler's head for a maximum. Gill smashed five boundaries and hit two sixes on the way and looks like a man on mission. Mohali is Shubman Gill's homeground as well and is making sure that home fans enjoy every bit of this game.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, at the other end, has also got to his fifty and both of them have notched up a century partnership as well. At the time of writing, India are 124-0 at the end of 19 overs with both Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill batting on 61.
