Shubman Gill is considered as one of the finest young talents in world cricket currently and after centuries in the second and third Test, he has now scored a brilliant fifty under pressure to take India over the line.

Gill showed tremendous skills and patience to weather the storm when wickets were falling in a tricky run-chase of 192 and finally found an able partner in the form of Dhruv Jurel when India were still 72 runs away from the target.

When India needed 20 runs to win, Shubman Gill decided to put the foot on the accelerator and thumped a tossed up delivery from Shoaib Bashir straight down the ground for a six. The next ball was blocked patiently but he again ran down the track on the third delivery to pumped it over deep mid-wicket.

India eventually crossed the line with Dhruv Jurel hitting a winning run and have taken an unassailable lead in the series with one more game to go at Dharamsala. This is one of the finest knock in Shubman Gill's Test career and the one that will give him lot of confidence going ahead in his career.
