The Guyana Amazon Warriors and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots are playing against each other in the seventh match of the CPL 202 at Warner Park in St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. 

The Guyana Amazon Warriors displayed a strong start after their captain  Imran Tahir won the toss and opted to bat first. Despite losing Kevin Sinclair and Shai Hope early, the partnership between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Shimron Hetmyer turned the tide for the Warriors. 

Their blistering stand of 116 runs off just 47 balls put immense pressure on the Patriots' bowlers.

Shimron Hetmyer Dismissed The Bowler From His Presence

One of the standout moments of the match came in the last ball of the seventh over when Hetmyer smashed Veerasammy Permaul for a massive six. 

It was a classic display of his explosive power, as he cleared his front leg and launched the ball over long-on with ease. He took full advantage of the delivery that was in the slot. 

Their powerful partnership set the tone for a competitive total, putting the Warriors in a strong position in the game.

Shimron Hetmyer Turns On His Beast Mode

After the early dismissals of Kevin Sinclair and Shai Hope, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Shimron Hetmyer took charge and steered the Guyana Amazon Warriors' innings back on track. Gurbaz played an explosive knock, and scored 69 off 37 balls, which included six towering sixes. 

Despite Gurbaz's departure, Hetmyer continued his onslaught. Even though Azam Khan failed to make an impact with just 2 runs, Keemo Paul stepped in and played a blistering cameo, and smashed 38 off just 14 balls. 

Throughout the innings, Hetmyer was unstoppable, he took full control and dominated the bowlers. His powerful 91 off 39 balls featured aggressive shots all around the stadium, that set the strong foundation for a record-breaking total.
