The game that turned out to be one of the biggest thrillers in this year's Pakistan Super League (PSL) between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, the latter emerged victorious on the last delivery courtesy of a blazing innings from Sherfane Rutherford, who took the honours to smash six sixes in his innings of 58. 

Rutherford came in at a stage when Quetta were four down for 89 during the chase of 166 and quickly lost their fifth man on the same score. With two new batters at the crease, Rutherford and his Caribbean teammate Akeal Hosein did the job brilliantly to take them over the finishing line.

However, out of Rutherford's six sixes, one of them gained much traction on social media for the distance and elevation it gathered, so much so that it hit the roof of the Karachi Stadium.

During the final ball of the seventeenth over, the big-hitter pulled one over the deep mid-wicket boundary against Hasan Ali. 

The shot was so well timed that it managed to not just cross the fence but also the stands as well, hitting onto the top of the roof. Turns out this was measured at a whopping 104 metres.

This six released a lot of pressure as the equation was down to just 34 runs off the last 18 deliveries, which they did manage to ace in the end.

After this innings, Rutherford will next be seen playing for Quetta in their upcoming game against Islamabad United on 2nd March in Rawalpindi.
