We often see Shaheen Afridi doing his trademark ‘Eagle’ celebration whenever he gets a wicket across formats. However, on Friday (January 19) in Christchurch, the Pakistan T20I skipper seemed aggressive on the field after taking Finn Allen’s wicket during the fourth T20I between the two sides.

Rightly so, Shaheen lost all three matches in New Zealand to kick things off as Pakistan’s T20I skipper, and therefore, his celebration after the dangerous Kiwi opener was justified.

Coming to defend a below-par 158, Shaheen had to strike early to keep the Men in Green in the hunt. And he delivered, as a good length delivery swinging in got the better of Allen. The New Zealand opener found a leading edge at point before Saim Ayub took a simple catch to end his stay after a four-ball eight.

Shaheen roared aggressively after the wicket, particularly because Allen was in red-hot form until losing his wicket. Hence, taking the crucial wicket in the opening over led him to get pumped up in the middle of the stadium.
