Experienced Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan had a memorable outing with the bat in the fourth T20I of the ongoing five-match series against New Zealand. Opening the batting, Rizwan struck a valiant 63-ball 90*, helping his side post a respectable total. 

In this process, the keeper-batter broke Babar Azam's record to register the second highest individual T20I score for Pakistan on New Zealand soil. Notably, former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez tops the list with a highest score of 99*, while Babar has moved one place down, courtesy of Rizwan's flamboyant knock.

While Babar Azam departed for an 11-ball 19, Rizwan held his nerves to compose a magnificent knock for his side. His partnership with Mohammad Nawaz ensured a fitting finish for the visitors, powering them to 158 in 20 overs. 

In response, New Zealand lost Finn Allen early, as Shaheen Afridi drew the first blood for Pakistan. As of writing, the BlackCaps are 9 for one, with Tim Seifert and Will Young unbeaten in the middle.
