[Watch] Shaheen Afridi's Killer In-swinger Uproots Tim Robinson's Middle Stump

Pakistan's ace speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi had a dream start to the rain-affected first T20I against New Zealand, as he castled debutant Kiwi opener Tim Robinson with a lethal in-swinger. 

The incident took place in the first over of the game when recently reinstated Pakistan skipper Babar Azam handed the ball to Afridi to open the bowling for the hosts. 

Bowling over the wicket, Afridi conceded two leg byes before cleaning up the right-hander with an absolute ripper. 

Afridi bowled a good length delivery that jagged back into Robinson after swinging in the air. As the batter went for a wild slog, he was beaten comprehensively, with the ball shattering his middle stump. 

Thus, Robinson, who was playing his first T20I, had a forgettable debut match, being dismissed for a silver duck. 

However, soon after Afridi got rid of Robinson, rain returned to interrupt the proceedings for one final time. Earlier, after New Zealand opted to bat first, rain prevented the teams from getting into action. 

After a long delay, the umpires finally went ahead with a 5-over per side game only to see inclement weather conditions playing spoilsport. 

With the first match being called off, both teams will take on each other in the second fixture at the same venue on April 20.
