Experienced fast bowler Naseem Shah had a memorable outing in the ongoing third ODI against Australia at Perth Stadium. Opening the bowling alongside the in-form Shaheen Afridi, Naseem got the better of Jake Fraser-McGurk before dismissing Australia's stand-in captain Josh Inglis.

The incident occurred during the eleventh over of Australia's innings when Inglis was trying to form a consolidating stand with opening batter Matthew Short. Naseem Shah, who had been brilliant till that point, was asked to bowl for the one final time in his first spell. It was a gutsy call from Mohammad Rizwan and could've gone either way, considering the fast bowler had already delivered five consecutive overs.

However, the skipper's bold decision proved a masterstroke for his side, with Naseem getting the priceless scalp of Josh Inglis.

The right-arm pacer kept thing tight initially, keeping the Aussie batters quiet with his immaculate accuracy. As Inglis became desperate for a release shot, Naseem surprised him with a well-directed bouncer.

Inglis, who is known for his excellent back foot game, went for an audacious pull shot. However, he couldn't get on top of the bounce, top-edging the ball straight up in the air. Rizwan did no mistake behind the stumps, taking a simple catch to dismiss his Australian counterpart.

Australia In A Spot Of Bother In Perth ODI

After Inglis was dismissed by Naseem, Haris Rauf sent Matthew Short packing for 22 runs. At the time of writing, Australia were reeling at 79 for four, with the experienced Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis batting on 0* and 5*, respectively.
