Match 14 of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023 witnessed San Francisco take on Texas Super Giants at Morrisville, where the Faf du Plessis-led side prevailed by three wickets. In a topsy-turvy encounter, Super Kings chased down 172 runs thanks to a late 18-ball 42 from Daniel Sams after Pakistan's Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan toppled their batters, claiming two apiece. 

Khan, who has been in terrific form with both bat and ball, first scored a swift 20-run cameo, then claimed the wickets of Devon Conway and Mitchell Santner. The highlight of Khan's dismissals was undoubtedly Santner's wicket.

Sannter, batting on seven off nine, missed a googly from Khan and played the delivery with his feet stuck in the crease, only to have his off-stump rattled.

Earlier, Khan got the better of Devon Conway, getting him stumped as the batter missed a googly, and came dashing down the track too early. The 24-year-old has claimed 127 runs and picked up five wickets in five matches for San Francisco Unicorns. 

Texas has already qualified Qualifier ending second in the points table, while San Francisco's qualification relies on the match between MI New York and Seattle Orcas.
