The Oval Invincibles Women and the London Spirit Women are playing against each other in The Eliminator of The Women's Hundred 2024. This game is being played at the Kennington Oval in London, United Kingdom. 

The London Spirit won the toss ahead of the game and invited the Oval Invincibles to bat first. The Invincibles did not have the best of starts as they lost Paige Scholfield early. The Oval team would have hoped that their skipper, Lauren Winfield-Hill will combine with batters like Alice Capsey and Marizanne Kapp to propel the team towards a fighting total.

However, the Spirit skipper, Sarah Glenn got the better of her counterpart pretty soon. On the third delivery of the sixth set, Glenn bowled a fullish delivery at the off stump to Winfield-Hill. The batter reached the pitch of the delivery and tried to drive it back down the ground. She ended up playing it in the air and back the bowler. Glenn was quick to reach and took a sharp catch to end Winfield-Hill's stay in the middle. 

Although, the Spirit rocked the Oval Invincibles early, their two experienced players, Alice Capsey and Marizanne Kapp stabilised the innings and took the team towards a respectable total. At the time of writing, the Oval Invincibles are staioned at 90/4 from 85 balls.
