Rohit Sharma and Akash Deep during Gabba Test (Source:@StarSportsIndia/X.com)
The third Test between India and Australia at the Gabba is turning out to be another difficult game for the visitors as the home team have put on a strong batting performance. Their bowlers too have started off well and have blown away India's top order, putting themselves in a very strong position.
The frustration was quite evident in the body language of Indian players while fielding as Alex Carey displayed resistance with the lower order to keep India waiting. Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper who is known to speak his mind on the field was also clearly not happy with the performance of his bowlers, and when Akash Deep bowled a wayward delivery to Carey, he could not stop himself from bursting out.
Rohit Sharma Frustrated With India's Bowling Performance
It was typical Rohit Sharma comment, which he normally comes up when he is frustrated and it did not look like it was a deliberate attempt to abuse Akash Deep. The Indian pacer bowled it way outside off and Pant somehow managed to stop it with a dive.
Rohit Sharma reacted immediately, asked Akash Deep sarcastically whether there is anything in your brain or not. In Hindi it was 'Abbe Sar Me Kuch Hai? Akash Deep did not respond and walked back to his mark and the bowler eventually got the big wicket of Alex Carey to end Australia's innings at 445.
Jasprit Bumrah picked six wickets, but there was hardly any support for him and with Indian batting order crumbling again, the visitors would need a special effort from someone to make a comeback.
