[Watch] Sam Curran Removes Dangerous Overton During His Heroic Performance In The Hundred 2024

Sam Curran is one of the finest young talents in English cricket and is fast developing into a genuine match-winner. His main asset is his bowling, but he is quite good with the bat as well, and once again in match 18 of 'The Hundred 2024' he showed his all-round skills and took Oval Invincibles to a 3-run win against the home team Manchester Originals.

He smashed 68 off 38 balls, took a brilliant catch and then with the ball got two wickets, one of which was of dangerous Jamie Overton. It was the last set and Manchester needed just seven off 5 balls. Curran though changed the game with a wicket of Overton on the 96th ball. 

It was a good-length delivery, around off and Overton went for a wild slog. He only managed an inside edge though, and Billings behind the stumps took a fine catch.

He also took the wicket of Usama Mir on the final delivery of the match when the Originals needed four to win, and it was indeed a complete performance from the very talented cricketer who was the player of the tournament in the T20 World Cup 2022.
