Kieron Pollard is the legend of T20 cricket, and though the man has retired from T20Is and IPL, he is still going strong in the other franchise tournaments. The Hundred is not an exception, and in the 13th match of the 2024 season Pollard unleashed a vintage cameo of 38 off 22 balls to take Southern Brave to a massive total against Birmingham Phoenix along with James Vince.

James Vince smashed 90 off just 47 balls and was the main hero for Brave, but Pollard also did his job perfectly at the death. He hit five fours and a six in his knock and that one hit came off the bowling of Time Southee on the 81st ball, when he bowled a full delivery, outside off and Pollard drilled it straight down the ground for a six in his typical stand-and-deliver fashion.

On the previous ball, James Vince had hit Benny Howell for a six in the similar direction and both of them made sure that Southern Brave end with a fantastic score of 169 on the board. In reply, Ben Duckett is also showing his might for Birmingham Phoenix, and at the time of writing, he is batting on 70 off just 33 balls with Phoenix score reaching 92 at the halfway mark.
