Phil Salt departs as Adam Zampa strikes (X.com)
The 18th Match of The Hundred between Manchester Originals and Oval Invincibles at the Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, witnessed a brilliant 'Adam Zampa moment' as he got the first breakthrough for his team by sending the Originals Skipper, Phil Salt back after his 34-run knock.
Phil Salt had pulled off a couple of audacious shots against the skilled spinner and his wicket almost felt as a payback. During his time at the crease, he smashed three boundaries along with one maximum.

On the 54th ball, Adam Zampa unleashed a flighted delivery around off that ran slower through the air. Salt got down on one knee with a strong desire to slog sweep it, however he miss timed-it and as a result of which he lost his off stump.
With this, Adam Zampa drew first blood for the Oval Invincibles and broke the 89-run opening stand.
Earlier in the game, Oval Invincibles put up a fighting total of 164 for the opposition. During the chase, despite a half century from Matthew Hurst and aid from the other teammates, the Originals failed to get past the line as Sam Billings-led Oval Invincibles won the game a narrow margin by 3 runs.
