In the thrilling ongoing semi-final match of the Ranji Trophy 2024 between Mumbai and Tamil Nadu, Sai Kishore emerged as the star performer, showcasing his exceptional talent with the ball.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss on day 1, Tamil Nadu struggled, posting a modest total of 146 in their first innings, thanks to impressive bowling performances from Shardul Thakur, Tushar Deshpande, Musheer Khan and Tanush Kotian. 

However, it was during Mumbai's batting that Sai Kishore truly shone. The left-arm orthodox spinner wreaked havoc, claiming five crucial wickets, including that of skipper Ajinkya Rahane, as Mumbai found themselves struggling at 125/7 by lunch on day 2.

With his stellar performance, Sai Kishore showcased his skill and underlined his importance to the Tamil Nadu team. Having already made a mark in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024, Sai Kishore's leadership has propelled Tamil Nadu into the knockout stages after a six-year hiatus.

The 27-year-old boasts an impressive record of 160 wickets in 38 first-class matches, including nine five-wicket hauls. His slow left-arm orthodox bowling has made him a formidable force in domestic cricket across formats.
