Sharma, known for his consistent performances, achieved a 66-ball fifty, becoming the lone Indian player to reach a fifty-plus score in the game.

The match, the 45th match of the ODI World Cup 2023, witnessed Rohit Sharma's exceptional batting as he notched up a 44-ball fifty, showcasing his brilliance in World Cup competitions. Shubman Gill, who also hit a fifty, departed soon after, leaving Sharma to continue his remarkable innings.


In the 14th over of the match, Rohit Sharma reached his fifty in style with a stunning drive. Van Meekeren's delivery outside off was met with a graceful stride and a powerful drive, guiding the ball effortlessly past the covers fielder. The crowd erupted in applause as Rohit raised his bat to acknowledge the milestone, marking his 55th ODI fifty.
