Jasprit Bumrah, one of cricket's finest bowlers, showcased his exceptional skills on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. In a pivotal moment during the eighth T20 World Cup 2024 match, Bumrah claimed his second wicket, dismantling Ireland's batting lineup.

Bumrah's game-changing delivery came in the 15th over of the match when he dismissed Irish bowler Joshua Little, who had scored 14 runs off 13 balls.

The delivery, clocked at 145 kmph, was a searing yorker aimed straight at the stumps. Little moved to the leg side, attempting to dig out the ball but missed, resulting in the ball crashing into the base of the middle stump. This crucial wicket ended a frustrating partnership for India.

Earlier in the match, Indian young pacer Arshdeep Singh drew first blood for India and later, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya showcased his powerful bowling attack as he took three wickets.

India's relentless bowling attack soon restricted Ireland to just 96 runs, securing all ten wickets and demonstrating their dominance in the match.
