Rohit Sharma has adopted ulta-aggressive approach in recent times, and in the 20th match of IPL 2024, he continued in the same vain, taking apart Delhi Capitals bowlers with ease in the Powerplay. However, once again he could not convert his start and departed on 49 as Axar Patel delivered a killer arm ball.

The wicket came on the final delivery of the 7th over after three consecutive dot balls from Axar Patel, Rohit tried to do something different and paid a huge price. It was a flatter and quicker arm delivery from Axar and Rohit danced down the track to work it away. The ball though snicked between his bat and pad and knocked over the off pole.

Rohit was naturally disappointed as he has looked good throughout this season, but has not got that big score everyone is waiting for. DC though needed the breakthrough badly as MI openers were taking the game away from them. 

Also, SKY who walked out to bat at number 3, also departed for a two-ball duck off the bowling of Nortje to put DC right back in the game. With the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik walked out to the middle and this might just be the game where he unleashes all his might.
