Rohit Sharma is the x-factor for India at the top of the order and has the ability to take the game away from the opposition with his insane hitting. He showed all of that in the game against Australia with his sparkling 92, and against England too he started off on a positive note.
However, he got lucky too, when he was dropped on five in just the fourth ball of the second over by Phil Salt. It was a short delivery, outside off from Jofra Archer and Rohit Sharma played a cut shot, uppishly. It went straight to Salt, but it was hit hard, and the English batter could not react quickly as the ball burst through his hands and raced away for a boundary.

Rohit then got going after that drop catch despite Virat losing his wicket early again, and played some delightful shots to put India in a strong position at the end of the Powerplay.
This is a rematch of the 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal, and India would be looking to avenge that loss, as they have been the better team in this World Cup with wins in all of their completed matches.
