India will face England in the second semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Guyana Stadium on June 27. It will be the 2nd straight time that the two teams will lock horns in the last-four stage of a T20 World Cup edition.

The last time they met was in the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-finals, where England beat India by 10 wickets. Ahead of the crucial match, the hype is getting bigger and bigger on the internet and football club Manchester United have also joined the bandwagon.

Ahead of the crucial semi-finals, Manchester United's Instagram handle posted a photo of Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer. United, The most decorated club in England football, wrote, "Two big Reds go head-to-head in the T20 World Cup semi-finals."

Notably, Bumrah is a big Manchester United fan and also travelled to the club's home ground 'Old Trafford' with his wife Sanjana Ganesan during the summer of 2021.

During ICC World Cup 2023, Bumrah also celebrated a wicket by copying Marcus Rashford's celebration, one of Manchester United's forwards.

"It just came to my mind. I'd seen Rashford do it as well. I thought it was cool. There's no particular big backstory behind it. In the end, I decided to do it. Usually I'm too tired to celebrate. But that is one occasion where I did celebrate," said Bumrah back then.

Talking about Jofra Archer, the right-arm seamer is also a die-hard fan of Manchester United.

"It was probably 2007 and I’d just recently got a Playstation, and the first team I played FIFA with was Manchester United. I liked Rooney – I thought he was the best player, and he probably had the highest rating on the game, as well, at the time.”

At the time of writing this article, the match has been delayed because of rain.
