Delhi Capitals' captain Rishabh Pant sustained his golden run in the IPL 2024, as he played an impactful knock for his side in the ongoing group-stage game against Mumbai Indians at home. 

In an exceptional display or courage and class, the swashbuckling southpaw smashed Jasprit Bumrah for a massive six during his stay in the middle. 

The incident occurred during the 16th over of DC's innings when MI captain Hardik Pandya brought his trump card Bumrah back into the attack. 

After explosive South African batter Tristan Stubbs took a single off the first ball, Pant stunned Bumrah by hitting him for a huge six. 

Coming around the wicket, Bumrah erred in his line as he drifted one down the leg. Pant capitalised on the poor delivery, elegantly flicking the ball over the square leg fence for a six. 

Bumrah has had a forgettable game so far, conceding thirty runs off his three overs. Earlier, promising Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk took on the experienced campaigner, hitting him for two fours and a six off his first over. 

Riding on their batters' fireworks, the Capitals are in a commanding position in the game. As of writing, the hosts were 226 for three in 17.4 overs, with Pant and Stubbs unbeaten in the middle.
