Abishek Porel has been consistent for Bengal for quite a few years now, and finally in this 17th edition of IPL, he is making his mark on the big stage with some consistent scores. In the 43rd match of IPL 2024, he once again came up with a steady knock and scored 36 off 27 balls before Nabi got the better of him.

The wicket of Porel came on the fourth delivery of the 10th over and Nabi bowled it from 'round the wicket against the left-handed DC batter. Porel was looking to up the ante and danced down the track to launch it out of the park. Nabi though being an experienced bowler, pulled his length back slight and away from Porel arc and southpaw failed to connect.

Rest of the work was done by Ishan Kishan as he whipped the bails off before Porel could get back to his crease and MI managed to grab their second wicket. However, after Porel's wicket, Shai Hope played handy cameo of 41 off just 17 balls to continue the momentum set by scintillating 84 off 27 balls by Jake Fraser McGurk.
