Swashbuckling Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk had a great start to his innings in Delhi Capitals' ongoing IPL 2024 encounter vs Mumbai Indians. Opening the batting for DC, the dynamic right-hander hammered MI's opening bowlers to all parts of the ground, ensuring a magnificent start for the hosts. 

After smashing England's premier swing bowler Luke Wood in the first over, Fraser-McGurk took a particular liking for ace MI speedster Jasprit Bumrah for two fours and a six to form a solid foundation for the hosts. 

As Luke Wood went for 19 runs in the first over, MI skipper Hardik Pandya brought Bumrah into the attack to get Fraser-McGurk early.However, the batter completely dominated MI's trump card, smacking him for two fours and a six.

As if it wasn't enough, the promising Australian batter came back on strike to conclude the over with another four, helping DC collect 18 runs off Bumrah's first over. 

Riding on his scintillating fifty, DC have got off to a flyer in the game, placed at 79 for no loss in 4.3 overs as of writing.
