The inaugural season of Delhi Premier League is grabbing lot of eyeballs, and Rishabh Pant after leading Purani Dilli-6 in the first game, handed over the leadership to Lalit Yadav. 

They desperately needed a win against North Delhi Strikers in the 11th match of the tournament, and Lalit Yadav, the DC star who plays under Rishabh Pant in IPL stepped up big time by picking two wickets with the ball and unbeaten fifty in the run-chase. 

Lalit Yadav also finished the match in style with a six off the pull shot to take his team to a comfortable six-wicket win. It was a short delivery from Anirudh Chowdhury who was looking for his fifth wicket after bagging all the four wickets in the innings, but Yadav was quick to pick the length and just about managed to beat the fielder in deep square leg as the ball directly went onto hit the advertising cushion.

Purani Dilli-6 Move To Number 3 On Points Table

Along with Lalit Yadav, Keshav Dalal also batted well and scored 59 off 36 balls which helped Dilli 6 to chase down the target of 131 in just the 15th over. The win has taken Dilli-6 to the number 3 position on the points table while North Delhi Strikers are languishing at the bottom of the table.
