On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor is rapidly gaining ground. Her recent film 'Stree 2' has been a box office success, and she has now achieved another milestone by becoming the second most-followed Indian star on Instagram with 91.9 million followers, as she surpassed Priyanka Chopra, who has 91.8 million followers. 

Following these top names, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone also command significant social media followings, with 85.2 million and 79.9 million followers, respectively.

Virat Kohli's Recent Form

Virat Kohli’s retirement from T20 internationals came after India’s victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, the recent ODI series against Sri Lanka was disappointing for Indian fans as Kohli failed to perform. 

Despite a long-standing 27-year streak of success against the Lankan Lions, the Indian team failed to secure a win in the ODI leg of the series, marking a notable and sombre moment in their cricketing history. Virat Kohli will next be seen in the Test series against Bangladesh in September.
