Despite coming to bat at No. 5 during a paltry chase of 90 against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium, Delhi Capitals' skipper Rishabh Pant did not disappoint his ardent fans on Wednesday. The swashbuckling wicket-keeper batsman remained unbeaten on 16 off 11 balls, and the way he smashed Rashid Khan, the best T20I bowler in the world, out of the park made a lot of noise.

Rashid came to bowl the eighth over of DC’s innings when Pant was on strike. The DC captain came down the track and played a lofted drive over long-off. The timing, however, was not great, resulting in the ball just clearing the boundary ropes for six runs.

Even though it was a 76-metre six, Rashid was visibly disappointed because the ball just landed outside the ropes.

Earlier in the game, Rashid Khan top-scored for Gujarat, who folded for 89 in 17.3 overs after collective performance from DC attack. In reply, all Delhi took were 8.9 overs to get the job done, as they had six wickets hand to boost their net-run-rate as well.
