On a day when every Gujarat Titans player fails with bat in hand, Rashid Khan played like a warrior on Wednesday in Match 32 of IPL 2024 between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Coming to bowl the 18th over of GT’s innings, Mukesh Kumar banged it short length against Rashid, who was batting on 31 off 24 balls. All the Afghanistan all-rounder could get was a faint nick before it went straight into the big gloves of Rishabh Pant.

GT’s innings closed inside 17.3 overs, managing a total of 89 while losing all ten wickets. Rashid was the top-scorer for IPL 2022 champions, while only two players barring him—Sai Sudharsan and Rahul Tewatia— touched double digits.

At the time of writing this, DC are on their way to complete a commendable victory against GT. Of course, it would help Rishabh Pant and his boys to improve their poor net run rate. Mind you, they have lost four matches already this season, with two wins have helped them to be only above RCB on the points table.
