Rishabh Pant is known for his fearless batting and never-back-down attitude. Once again, he proved why he’s considered one of India’s most explosive cricketers. Playing in the fifth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground, Pant stepped onto the pitch and made his intentions clear from the very start. He smashed a bold six early in India's second innings, showing he was ready to take on the mighty Australians.

Rishabh Pant Takes on Boland in Style

Pant arrived at the crease after Indian captain Virat Kohli fell cheaply for just 6 runs, dismissed by Australia’s Scott Boland. But instead of playing cautiously, Pant went on the attack. In the 14th over, Boland bowled a fuller-length delivery outside off stump. Without a second thought, Pant charged down the pitch and launched the ball over deep mid-wicket for a stunning six.

The message was loud and clear: extra bounce and movement off the track wouldn’t bother him. Pant was determined to dominate, and that six set the tone for his aggressive approach.

India in Trouble Early On Vs Australia

India’s second innings didn’t start well. Openers KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal got off to decent starts but couldn’t convert them into big scores. Rahul was dismissed for 13, while Jaiswal managed 22 runs. Scott Boland was the troublemaker, picking up both wickets early in the innings.

The Australian bowlers kept the pressure on, and India soon found themselves in a difficult situation, with four wickets down for 78 runs after 15 overs.
