Facing the spin of Keshav Maharaj, Singh's promising innings came to an abrupt halt. Despite Maharaj's earlier struggles with economy, Aiden Markram's trust in the spinner proved strategic. Singh, looking well-settled at the crease, succumbed to Maharaj's crafty delivery. The spinner tossed the ball temptingly outside off, luring Singh into a forward stride. The ball, however, drifted away, deceiving Singh's blade and finding a path to Heinrich Klaasen's gloves.

In a flash, Singh found himself stumped, his back leg dragged outside the crease as Klaasen efficiently dislodged the bails. Maharaj's exuberant celebration echoed the significance of the wicket.
