Ishan Kishan turned right-handed against Sunil Narine on Saturday (May 11) in Match 60 of IPL 2024 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The MI wicket-keeper batter executed perfectly, as his sublime switch hit took the ball past the boundary line.

Chasing a below-par 158, Sunil Narine bowled a length delivery outside the leg stump, and Ishan, before even playing that, made up his mind that he would go for a switch hit.

Mumbai, at the time of writing this, are in a comfortable position, racing to 65/0 after 6.3 overs in a 16-over-per side tie. Rohit Sharma is batting on 18 off 20 balls, while Ishan is the aggressor, batting on 40* off 21 balls.

Meanwhile, Narine only got the wicket of Ishan Kishan later in the match.

Earlier in the game, Venkatesh Iyer's 21-ball 42, ably supported by Nitish Rana (33 off 23 balls), Andre Russell (24 off 14), Rinku Singh (20 off 12), and Ramandeep Singh (17* off 8) helped KKR reach 157/7 in an innings where no one looked settled for sometime.
