In a rain-marred game which reduced to a 16-overs-per-side contest, Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and asked Kolkata Knight Riders to bat first in Match 60 of IPL 2024 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
In a crucial development, KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer confirmed that Nitish Rana, who picked up a hand injury earlier, is back for the Purple and Gold Brigade. He will replace Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who was having a poor run in the competition after promising start.
However, Mumbai Indians have not made any changes to their playing XI, which means the five-time champions will only have two foreigners, Tim David and Nuwan Thushara.
