Pakistan cricket team has yet again come under scrutiny after their recent loss against Ireland on Friday in Dublin. Kamran Akmal has come out as one of the vocal critics of the performance, calling out players for prioritizing personal milestones over the team's interest.

After winning the toss on Friday afternoon, Ireland's captain, Paul Stirling asked Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan batted really slow in the powerplay, scoring just 38 runs for the loss of Mohammad Rizwan's wicket. Babar Azam played 19 balls in this six-over period, managing to score only 15 runs.

The lacklustre batting continued throughout the innings before Ifthikar Ahmed scored 15-ball-37 to help them reach 182. Ireland calculated the chase to perfection with Andy Balbirnie leading them to the win with his 77 (55).

Kamran Akmal, the ex-Pakistan wicketkeeper and Babar Azam's cousin, came out criticising this display from the Pakistan batters, calling them selfish to play the way they did.

"We will get better when we will try to play good cricket. The players must think about the team and we will continue to lose if things stay like this. I am looking that how players are prioritising personal goals which is not good for the side. The team management will soon identify this," Akmal said.

In the next couple of games, Pakistan will be looking to turn things around and fix their issues ahead of the upcoming World Cup where they will face Ireland again in the group stages. They face each other again on Sunday at the same venue.
