India Women had a dream start with the ball, as Renuka Singh Thakur rattled West Indies Women's top order in the ongoing third ODI between the two teams. After dismissing Qiana Joseph for a golden duck, Renuka wreaked havoc in the visitors' camp by getting rid of Hayley Matthews. 

The incident occurred during the very first over of West Indies Women's innings after they took a gutsy call of batting first on a fresh pitch at Reliance Stadium in Vadodara. Renuka made the most of the early morning moisture, leaving the Women in Maroon shell-shocked with her sensational opening spell. 

From over the wicket, Renuka Thakur bowled a good-length delivery that jagged back into Matthews after pitching around the off-stump line. As the talismanic batter tried to play it off her back foot, the ball sneaked through her defence and shattered the middle stump. The legendary cricketer was in shock as she made her way back to the dugout without opening her account. 

As if the twin strikes weren't enough, Renuka breathed fire once again, cleaning up the explosive Deandra Dottin for five runs. Her incredible opening spell ensured India's marvellous start that left the visitors tumbling in the middle. 

Campbelle And Henry Join Forces As Windies Lose Three Quick Wickets

After Deandra Dottin was castled, Shemaine Campbelle was joined by Chinelle Henry in the middle. As of writing, the visitors were tottering at 20 for three in 10.1 overs.
