The Australian media has been known for their cheap gimmicks. The community have always targeted the main players of the touring team and tried to mess with the mental state of the units. The same was evident from recent post made by a publication - The West Australian.
Notably, during the first day of the Boxing Day Test, an incident between Virat Kohli and Australia's debutant, Sam Konstas heated up the atmosphere. While Sam Konstas was playing with intent and taking the attack to the Indian team, the visitors were getting restless and it was evident in the the players were reacting to the situation.
Virat Kohli, one of the prime players of the current Indian team walked up to the Aussie debutant and gave him a shoulder nudge. While it looked a bit too much and unwanted, it was thing to be kept on the field. Sam Konstas even said after the match that it was an accident. Anyways, accident or not it was a incident that should have been left on the field, especially by the Australians who are known for their on-field 'unwanted' aggression.
