Will Jacks blasted a 41-ball century against Durban’s Super Giants in match number 10 of the ongoing SA20 2024 season. Opening the innings for Pretoria Capitals at Centurion, the cricketer belted nine sixes, including three in succession off Keshav Maharaj to lead his side’s run-scoring charge until his dismissal in the 13th over of the innings.

Jacks’ thunderbolt knock blazed Capitals to 204-9 off their 20 overs, with Colin Ingram’s 23-ball 43 providing late surge at the death.

England cricketer Will Jacks is set to make his IPL debut through the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise in the upcoming 2024 season. Currently in South Africa for the SA20 2024 event, the 25-year-old listed a sizzling 58 against Paarl Royals at Centurion.

In his side’s very next game against Durban’s Super Giants at the same venue, Jacks clubbed 101 runs from just 42 balls with eight boundaries and nine sixes to his name. At one stage of his innings, he launched senior DSG spinner Keshav Maharaj for three successive maximums, just moments after completing his half-century from 23 balls.

Will Jacks is set to appear in the IPL 2024 season this year through the RCB franchise. The Englishman was acquired by the RCB team management in December 2023 off the back of his white-ball exploits in The Hundred as well as in international cricket.

The IPL 2024 season will likely commence from March 29 onwards, i.e., shortly after England’s five-match Test series in India. Ahead of the much-awaited tournament, here is a look at the entire list of RCB's IPL 2024 squad.
