The first Test between India and England is being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. India ended their first innings at the score of 436 runs on day 2 of the Test match.

On both days of the Test match, the Indian team received huge support from the crowd. The fans constantly cheered throughout the two days' play. Notably, Mohammed Siraj is playing at his home ground in Hyderabad and the Indian seamer also received a round cheer of applause when he came on to bowl.

He was the last one in the five-bowler attack to come and roll his arms. With the spinners getting a lot of help from the surface, Siraj wasn’t used a lot by the captain in both innings.

In the first innings, he only bowled four overs. England have batted 77 overs thus far in their second innings but Siraj bowled only three overs. Despite that, the fans wouldn’t stop cheering him when he came on to bowl.

Much to the delight, RCB Army was also present at the stadium and cheered for ‘MIYAN’ during his spell. The franchise also took to its Twitter handle to share the video clip.

Ollie Pope’s masterclass knock keeps England in the hunt

England were down and out after they had lost half of the side for just 163 runs in their second innings. However, Ollie Pope kept grinding and found boundaries at regular intervals. He stitched important partnerships with the likes of Ben Duckett and Ben Foakes and took the team to 316 for 6 at stumps on day 2.

Pope played all three spinners to perfection and went on to hit his first century in India and fifth, overall. Despite wickets falling at the other end, Ollie Pope kept scoring runs for the team. He is still unbeaten on 148 off 208 alongside Rehan Ahmed (16 of 31).

Thanks to his sensational knock, England currently lead by 126 runs but still has a lot of work to do. The likes of Ben Foakes also gave him good support, chipping in with a valuable 34 off 81 balls. Earlier, Zak Crawley (31 off 33) and Ben Duckett (47) gave England a solid start.

As for India, Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 2 for 29. Ravi Ashwin also claimed three wickets, while Axar and Jadeja picked one apiece.
