Prominent Royal Challengers Bengaluru cricketer Rajat Patidar exhibited his incredible fielding skills as he grabbed a spectacular catch to send Shams Mulani packing in the ongoing Duleep Trophy encounter between India A and India C at Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur. Coming at seven, Mulani played a valuable cameo of 44 runs before Patidar's sensational grab put an end to his valiant stay.

The incident occurred during the 48th over of India A's innings when India C desperately needed someone to break the sixth wicket stand between Mulani and Shashwat Rawat. India C skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad's decision to bring Gaurav Yadav into the attack paid rich dividends, as the ace seamer dismissed Mulani with a magnificent delivery.

From around the wicket, the right-arm seamer bowled a full-length ball that shaped slightly away from Mulani after pitching way outside the off stump. As the bowler offered width, Mulani tried capitalising on it by freeing his arms.

However, he only managed an outside edge, with the ball flying straight to the slip cordon. As the ball travelled quickly, Rajat Patidar showed exemplary reflexes to claim a stunning catch at wide gully. The southpaw's wicket broke India A's momentum, leaving them in tatters in this all-important clash.

India A In A Spot Of Bother Vs India C

Riding on Anshul Kamboj's clinical three-wicket haul, India C claimed the driving seat in their ongoing Duleep Trophy affair against India A. After dismissing Pratham Singh and Mayank Agarwal in quick succession, Kamboj returned to get the prized breakthrough of Tanush Kotian.

Apart from the right-arm pacer, Gaurav Yadav and Vyshak Vijaykumar looked sharp with the ball, sharing three wickets. At the time of writing, India A were 160 for seven, with Shashwat Rawat and Avesh Khan batting at 74* and 1*, respectively.
