Young Indian pacer Rasikh Salam had a memorable outing with the ball, as he dismantled the United Arab Emirates' top-order with a magnificent spell in the ongoing Emerging Asia Cup tournament. After dismissing Nilansh Keswani and Vishnu Sukumaran, Salam bowled a ripper to castle UAE's prominent batter Syed Haider Wasi Shah.
The incident occurred during the sixth over of UAE's innings when Haider Shah had just joined Rahul Chopra in the middle following the cheap dismissals of Keswani and Sukumaran. However, before the experienced duo could bail UAE out of trouble, Rasikh Salam cleaned up Haider Shah with a vicious delivery.
From over the wicket, Rasikh bowled an in-swinger, which came back sharply into Haider after pitching around the off stump. As the right-handed batter played an expansive drive, the ball went through the gap between his bat and pad, uprooting his middle stump in the process.
Thus, Haider Shah, UAE's highest scorer in the previous match, made his way back to the hut, scoring only four runs. His dismissal wreaked havoc in the UAE camp, with India claiming the driving seat in the high-voltage affair.
