Quinton de Kock is a key player for LSG at the top of the order and has been in decent form in IPL 2024. He started off brilliantly in the 26th match against Delhi Capitals as well and hit four boundaries in his brief knock of 19 before Khaleel Ahmed got the better of him.

It was the fifth delivery of the third over and Khaleel Ahmed bowled it full on middle and leg. Quinton de Kock tried to hoick it over deep mid-wicket with the angle but could not connect, and got hit on his pads. A big appeal followed, and the umpire obliged as he raised his finger without much fuss.

De Kock though took the DRS as there was a chance that the angle will take the ball down the leg side. The Ball Tracking though showed Umpire's Call on Wicket's hitting and the on-field decision stayed, bringing a wave of disappointment in the Ekana Stadium.

Khaleel Ahmed, on the other hand, has been doing quite well with the new ball and the concern for DC is their death bowling which they would need to be vary of against LSG as well.
