Kieron Pollard, who is representing the Southern Brave in The Hundred competition, scared a commentator when he smacked a ferocious six off Welsh Fire's Haris Rauf.

Pollard came in at number 5, and was a touch slow to start with. The top-order, led by James Vince had given a solid start to the Southern Brave team, and Pollard had the job top finish on a high. With Haris Rauf, one of the best T20 bowlers on the opposite end, Pollard decided to take him on.

Rauf bowled a bouncer and Pollard was ready for the task as he swivelled and pulled it towards the fine leg region, where the commentary box was placed beside the boundary line. One of the commentator, Robert Croft got scared by the speed at which the ball was travelling, as he ducked quickly to save himself. Luckily, the ball just hit the advertising board.

Once the incident happened, Croft was livid with his co-commentator, and mentioned on-air that he was looking at the screen, rather than the ball and the others should have warned him.

Talking about the contest, Haris Rauf eventually had the last laugh, as he took his revenge by dismissing the dangerous and well set Pollard for a 12-ball 17.
