In the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa at the Supersport Park Stadium, the visitors are in deep trouble as they tumbled for just 209/9 runs in the first innings. It was a horror show with the bat as no other player than Kamran Ghulam managed to register a fifty-plus score on the board.

Paterson Registers A Perfect-Five Wicket Haul

Dane Paterson was the star with the ball as the right-arm medium pacer took a five-wicket haul. It is Paterson's second consecutive fifer in Test cricket, and he is in superb form in red-ball cricket. Paterson took the important scalps of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Kamran Ghulam, and Salman Ali Agha.

Paterson completed his fifer with the crucial wicket of Salman Agha, who was the last proper batter for Pakistan in the middle. On the last ball of the 50th over, the right-arm seamer bowled a short-pitched delivery and Salman completely mistimed the shot, resulting in an easy catch for Ryan Rickelton.

Paterson celebrated his five-wicket haul in style as he screamed at the top of his lungs and also made a unique gesture following Salman's wicket. Here is the video of the wicket.

Corbin Bosch Also Shines On Debut

While, Dane Paterson took the limelight with a five-wicket haul, Corbin Bosch also had a perfect Test debut as the right-arm seamer took a four-wicket haul. He in fact drew the first blood for the Proteas after he got rid of Shan Masood on the first ball of his Test career.

Bosch made his parents proud as his mother also got emotional seeing her son shine on his red-ball debut. Talking about the match, Pakistan are 209/9 after tea on day 1.
